Teens' Top 10!
So every year, the ALA has this contest during Teen Read Week where teenagers vote for their favorite books of the year. Here's this year's Teens' Top Ten list:

First, I thought I would point you in the direction of Bookslut (bookslut.com) where I have an interview with Andi Parks on his graphic novel, "Capote in Kansas". Since you like the author and the new movie, I thought you might like the gn as well. (It is fabulous). Second, I think you could post endlessly about NY and all of us who read your blog would find it funny and enjoy reading your expensive adventures. Third, it is way cool that you made the top ten! You may not be able to afford cereal, but at least you know you are loved!

I have read those other two books, and they cannot compare to Alaska.
Congratulations anyways, Looking For Alaska rocked my socks.
The first one was all right, although a bit unfair since nearly every teenage girl in America got hooked on the first TWO Travelling Pants books. The second book I also read, and wasn't particularly impressed by.
Looking for Alaska, on the other hand, I kept out from my public library an extra month to keep reading it, until I could finally buy my own copy.
In summary: Alaska's still first place on my list.
Alaska schould be on the first place. It's one of the best books I've ever read. It changed my life. Thank you, John Green, for writing this.
I am desperate to be like Alaska. Standing up and taking a step into the Great Perhaps, was such an adventure. I couldnt hold back the tears and laughter. You are friken brilliant. i highly recommend a sequel...
Alaska deserves the gold. 4 teenage girls all being able to fit in the same pair of jeans doesn't fascinate me at all. I don't know what all the teenage girls across America were smoking..
Alaska finally gave me the urge to read, and at the end left me speechless. I spoke with overflowing emotions. I cant wait for another one of your masterpieces...thanks you. GOD BLESS.

Not having read the other books on the list, I have to say Alaska is wonderful and perhaps should have been higher on the list. One also has to take into account how the teens were surveyed. The sad fact that the average teen male in North America rarely picks up a book may have been a factor. Keep writing, John, they need you.

I can't believe this book is being recommended to minor children. Do you really believe graphic descriptions of oral sex between a teen-age boy and a teen-age girl are a good subject for a book read by minor children?!
